COVID-19 Safety Plan


What you can expect from us:

  • We will continue to meet the high level of sanitation required for a private health clinic.  We will be adding additional cleaning and disinfecting on all high contact surfaces between each patient.  This includes disinfecting Square payment system, bathrooms, light switches, and door handles.

  • There will only be a maximum of 2 patients in our reception area at any given time. While we are within the clinic, everyone will do their best to adhere to social distancing protocols by maintaining 6-foot distancing. Business cards, tea, and water will not be available in the reception area.

  • We will have a hand sanitation station set up to use for when you enter the clinic and before you leave the clinic.

  • We encourage all patients to book online and fill out the intake form at home before their first visit.

  • Before each appointment, every patient must fill out a COVID-19 prescreening questionnaire. If you have any COVID-19 related symptoms or have traveled outside of Canada in the last 14 days, you will have to reschedule your appointment for a later date. Cancellations fees will not apply if you are sick or cannot come to your appointment due to COVID-19 protocols.  

During your appointment:

  • We will continue to practice strict handwashing and sanitation protocols that are routine in an acupuncture clinic. This includes washing/sanitizing hands before and after touching a patient, washing/sanitizing hands before and after needle insertion. Cleaning and disinfecting vinyl surfaces and medical instruments touched after each appointment, and disposing of/ laundering linens after each patient.

  • To reduce the possibility of COVID-19 transmission, we will be wearing face masks, scrubs/lab coats that are washed and sanitized on a regular basis.

  • The washroom will be available and will be disinfected between every patient's use.

What we kindly ask from you:

  • Fill out a brief pre-screening questionnaire we send you the day before your appointment.  If you answer yes to any of the questions, PLEASE STAY AT HOME! 

  • Wear a face mask to your appointment.  This is mandatory, if you are not wearing one, we will have complimentary masks on hand you use during your appointment.

  • Please wash your hands before and after your appointment.

  • Please pay with tap or card.  We accept cash, debit, and credit cards, and our payment system is enabled to accept tap methods of payment.  We are also happy to direct bill to your extended health care provider before your appointment.
