Healing with Acupuncture

Benefits of Acupuncture Treatments

Acupuncture is over 3500 years old and is rooted in the observation of nature. It may be due to it’s systematic documentation and thousands of years of empirical evidence, that it is the only traditional healing system that is cohesive, backed by modern research and continues to gain popularity in current times.

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a medical procedure in which sterile filiform needles are inserted into precise anatomical points in order to produce physiological and biochemical changes. It is used within the context of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and has also been adopted within the fields of physiotherapy and bio-medicine in recent times. It encompasses all needling and point stimulation techniques including e-stimulation, moxibustion, dry needling, motor point needling, blood-letting, etc.

How Does Acupuncture Work?

  • Releases natural painkillers

A course of acupuncture treatments is needed in order to obtain the desired result for your health condition. Your practitioner will provide you with an individualized treatment plan determined by your condition, treatment goals, and how you respond to treatment

This therapy would be very effective for persons that have been in an accident, have tennis elbow, or back pain. If you have disk problems or jaw or mouth problems this type of therapy can be of assistance. An appointment at our office to have this procedure done. No anesthetic or medication is required. This type of therapy is an excellent option for persons who have tried medical or surgery therapy but did not receive the expected results.

Chi Nei Tsang

What is Chi Nei Tsang?

Chi Nei Tsang is an abdominal massage which uses soft, gentle and deep touch to help the internal organs work more efficiently and restore balance.
